Book Review: Finding the Rainbow by Rachel McGrathcategories: Book, Pregnancy, Grief, Parenting, Relationships, Non Fiction, Biography, Memoir
Rachel McGrathabout this book: I have always dreamed of being a mother, and having children. Perhaps it was something inherent, but somehow I always assumed I would have that opportunity.
Meeting 'Mr Right', getting married, everything was falling into place. Until we fell pregnant for the first time.
The world of trying to conceive, early pregnancy loss, and the roller-coaster of emotions that comes with that journey is something I had never taken much time to consider. Like many women I assumed that it wouldn't happen to me.
This is my heartfelt and honest journey through one of the most difficult times in my life. Writing my memoir through this period helped me gain clarity through what I was dealing with, and by publishing my story, I hope that it connects with others in similar or perhaps different life challenging situations.
Above all, I hope that it provides a sense of courage and determination to never give up on your dreams.

Excellent honest insightI would wholly recommend this book which gives a wonderfully honest insight into the pain and complexity of trying for a baby. It's easy to read, straightforward and therefore you feel very comfortable in taking in such personal information. Excellent read. A very inspiring lady. [by Helen Davies]
