Mike Angarolaabout this book: The third in a series of Ebooks devoted to Italian Living, "The Mediterranean Diet Recipe Book - Gracie's Guide to Healthy Meals" is more of a lifestyle change than a diet book.
After writing the first two books in the series (Gracie's Italian Living Series) and reading about the new Mediterranean Diet craze, I realized that my mom and her cooking were way ahead of the times. The foods she cooked and the style in which she prepared them were exactly what the Mediterranean Diet offered.
Her style was simple; olive oil in place of butter, vegetables at every meal, fruits for dessert and plenty of beans, nuts and grains incorporated into the meal. We ate seafood or fish twice weekly, mom and dad always enjoyed a glass of wine with dinner and after the dishes were done, they took a walk. Family time was precious and we always ate together.
That is a nutshell, is the basic format of the Mediterranean Diet. No rocket science here, just traditional foods and an old world approach to living.
I am sure you will find "The Mediterranean Diet Recipe Book" filled with over 50 easy to prepare meals, a suitable approach to eating and living. An approach fit for the entire family.
