Book: Conquering Passion - The Montbryce Legacy by Anna Markland

Anna Marklandabout this book: One of the things I enjoy most about writing medieval romance is the new knowledge I acquire when researching my stories. My plots often become research driven.
Combining this with my keen interest in genealogy, ancestry and roots has produced three successful series of books, all revolving around a medieval family's saga. Conquering Passion is the first book of The Montbryce Legacy series. The reader is introduced to three brothers, Ram, Antoine and Hugh de Montbryce, warriors caught up in the drama of the Norman Conquest in 1066. Conquering Passion is the story of Ram's improbable romance with a willful refugee brought to his bed in an arranged marriage.
This is an 81000 word novel with lots of history, poignant romance, adventure, intrigue and betrayal. It's an intimate story, but not erotic.
As you see from the cover art, Ram is an ambitious and determined man who will let nothing stand in his way, not even love. Mabelle has learned to survive on her wits and balks at the notion of being seen and not heard.
