Raymond Boyd Dunnabout this book: Continuing the story of the Akubra-wearing, coffee-loving 'super sleuth' as he accepts the responsibility of searching for an old friend's daughter. I am writing another novel, (only 12,000 words so far,) and hit the dreaded 'block'. Someone, somewhere, in the Internet maze, suggested writing something else when this happened, and switching from one to the other as the mood demanded. So I started on this short story, got carried away, and finished it. Now I have to settle down to the main project. Wish me luck!
This is the third short story of the life of Maxwell Marlowe, and is the first one in which he gets down to some serious romance. Don't worry - there is nothing graphic in his romancing of the gorgeous Georgina. Dis-engage the Adult filter if you want something like that. David advises commenting on the cover. I've used the same beach scene as in the other covers. It has been suggested that it is wise to have similar layouts for books in a series so readers can recognise the connection. That's it, then - back to my novel: "The Greenfields of Greenfield House."
