Diana DeLaHaye, LMHCabout this book: This book was an accomplishment that was inspired by the difficulties in relationships between men and women. It is aimed at anyone who wants to better their communication and connection with their spouse or partner. My book looks at the history of marriage and the stereotypes that interfere with a positive equal relationship. My book takes a look at what you can change to make your relationship healthier with out the gender roles that keep you stuck.I see these gender roles as a major contributor of divorce in this country.
As a psychotherapist I have had much experience counseling couples and individuals. Through my own experience of being divorced myself I have worked on growing as a woman and helping others achieve not only a stronger relationship, but a stronger self. This book will help free you to become a stronger and more independent individual.
The book actually took around 4 years to write, however it has at least 30 years of life experience in it. I have read many books on the subject of relationships and hve many resources in the book. I hope this book will help you as it has helped many couples.
