Maegan Abel

Author Maegan Abelabout this book: Perfectly Broken is a love story at its core, but it's also so much more. It's a story of overcoming your past and learning from your mistakes. It's about allowing yourself to be who you are without caring about what other people think. Lastly, how the bond of a family runs deep, regardless of whether that family is blood.

The book is about Zane and Lili, who both have things in their pasts that make them skeptical of the entire thought of love or being with one person for the rest of your life. That mutual outlook has brought them together as a perfect team. Best friends who know each other inside and out. They can practically read each other's minds and have a routine that gets them everything they think they need from the tourists around Vegas.

But, when it comes to love, sometimes timing is everything. And, if you hesitate, you may lose your chance.

Or, even worse, your past may come back to haunt you.

If you're looking for the typical love story, this isn't where you'll find it. If you're looking for a book with twists that will keep you constantly guessing and suspense that will have you on the edge of your seat, you may find exactly what you're looking for. I'm not saying there's not steam, because there is. After all, it is a love story. A love story filled with angst, happiness, tender moments, hate, love, frustration, giving up, fighting back; finding that one person that makes everything perfect, even though you're broken.
