Eugene T. Bernasconeabout this book: This book is about the years I've spent caring for my wife who was stricken with Alzheimer's and a stroke.
It is also autobiographical in how we met. Instead of placing her into a nursing, I chose to keep her home with me as I felt I was in a much better position to care for her. Before she became incapacitated and bedridden, I decided to write about our love story. It took me about three years to finish writing it.
I chose the cover picture to show how beautiful my wife was. We met in 1961, and knew form the very first day we were meant for each other.
We had many wonderful and happy years together. I know that a lot of women will appreciate this book, but I'm also looking to get the male audience interested as well.
I feel that the more people who read my book will see what true love is all about. It is the love is spoken from the heart and not the lips and is heard by the soul and not the ears.
