Rajesh Duttaabout this book: I have finally been able to do it. I have achieved a long cherished dream to tell my story to the world. It is about real people in real places. Thirty years ago, events began to happen in our home that have shaped me and my life, while destroying everyone else in the process. Not that I was responsible for it in any way but I did abandon the people who needed me. It has taken me thirty years to write the first part of the novel, in order to lay the ghosts to rest. Part of it was written BEFORE the events began, somewhat like a prophecy. The title has evolved over the years. The cover symbolizes the people and the forces they are up against in the novel. The hardest part was evolving my writing style. A little research was necessary about the place where it all happened. My novel is an eye-opener to my own character. I have judged myself in the novel. My message for my readers is in my novel.
