Jaye Rothmanabout this book: I wrote A Perfect Interlude, after finishing my book "The Hell Of Osirak", as I wanted to develop Margot's character further.
"The Hell of Osirak", is quite dark in places, and I wanted to bring some light into my character's life. After the Osirak mission Nikki Sinclair is living in New Zealand, she is trying to get her life back on track. One day, while walking on the amazing Takapuna beach an unexpected visitor shows up.
As I was writing it, I had a thought, what if Margot was telling Sinclair exactly what she wanted to hear. So often we accept people into our lives via FB and other social media sites. Do we really know who these people are? Anyone can be anyone on the web.
As you continue to read I hope you start to wonder, is Margot too good to be true?
This story is also homage to my adopted country, New Zealand, which I love. If I hadn't come to live here, I probably wouldn't have had the inspiration to become a writer.
