Book: Mendacity by Alexandria Infanté

Alexandria Infantéabout this book: Teaching is like breathing to California native Professor Alexandria Escalante. So when a good friend of hers invites her to apply for a position at one of America's upper crust Ivy League school's she jumps at the chance. It solves two problems for her. One she gets away from her overbearing family, who thinks she's basically incompetent because she can't keep a man; and two it helps her escape her abusive drug using ex-boyfriend.
Alexandria gains a strong circle of new friends, and believes she can truly start over, although nothing about California weather could have ever prepared her for an actual East Coast winter. And the greatest benefit of all, she meets fellow college Professor Dantè Poptoppolous.
This is all great, until the ex-boyfriend shows up and wants her back… dead or alive.
Because I am a professor myself, this was an entirely fun book to write. Knowing the profession like I do, I could actually incorporate the real teaching elements into the book...
