Book: I'm Not Perfect and It's Okay by Dolores Ayotte

Dolores Ayotteabout this book: I have currently published three self-help books. My greatest inspiration to write my books came from one of my adult daughters. Over twenty-five years ago, I attempted to put pen to paper but with all that was going on in my life, I was unable to complete this project. Less than five years ago, my daughter reminded me of my dream and encouraged me to have another go at it. Now the timing was better. My daughters were all married with families of their own and I was now retired. The empty nest created the opportunity for me to; once again, try tapping into my creative abilities.
Due to the nature of my books, it seemed necessary to fully live life before I could possibly consider helping others. In my youth, I had neither the maturity nor the experience to succeed with my book writing endeavors. Therefore, the ideas and stories I share with my reading audience are based on personal experience and what I learned along the way when facing my own trials and tribulations. In essence, my books are written in retrospect. I relate many of the personal lessons I learned utilizing several quotes, anecdotes, and humor to get my message across. In sharing my voice, I hope to be an inspiration to others.
