Adam Ballarinoabout this book: I have a very short temper when it comes to ignorant people. Being a manager in the food service industry for 10 years shortened this temper even more. Not a day went by where I was not shaking my head in disbelief at least once. Customers can be down right stupid. I found that by writing about what had happened that day it calmed me down. I ended up with so much ridiculous stuff that I decided to make it a book. It is all true and I think all hilarious.
This book is a culmination of 10 years of notes, tirades, and near mental breakdowns. I made it that long because I fought back. I didn't let the customers get the better of me. I made sure I got the better of them. I took charge and told it like it was. My favorite thing to hear was "I'll never come back here again". I heard that quite a bit. In the end I won. Any one that has ever worked in the industry will relate to all of these stories.
