Caren A. Steinabout this book: This book is a comical look inside the life of a Beauty Industry Professional who just happens to de-hair for a living, specializing in Electrolysis and Face & Body Waxing.
I've become a friend/counselor/therapist to many of my clients and the subject matter, though unique to the individual, is familiar to me as I hear the same basic things from all the women I work on. Marriage and dating stories, beauty, menopause and of course, unwanted HAIR, just to name a few things.
If you are a woman and you've been to a salon regularly for ANY service, chances are you have something to contribute to the discussion and you probably have without even knowing it.
Table Talk: Memoirs of a Bikini Waxer was written with love to all women everywhere. If you are a female and let's just say not too prudish, you should take away a sense womanly pride and dynamism. After all, you are the superior sex!
This book contains strong language and subject matter and is not for the faint-hearted.
