Angela H. Holmesabout this book: As a caregiver to my mom who is suffering from dementia. It's a daily struggle to stay sane myself. As the song says,"I'm not sick but I'm not well"
This book shares the sometimes funny side of dementia and or Alzheimer's disease. I wrote the book based off of my blog that I've been told inspires and give daily doses of laughter to my readers. I compiled all of the crazy funny yet true adventures I have with my mom Grace, my kids, my husband and my pets.
In the book also encourage caregivers to have outside interests in order to stay mentally healthy. I like to paint, cook and design. By using My talents, I have created a book cover design service for authors.
I also included a gew easy recipes that are healthy and easy to prepare. These recipes are for yourself, your kids and the one that you care for.
When I am tired I tend to become super sarcastic. I added the top ten things not to say as a caregiver if you are tired. I hope they keep you from putting your foot in your mouth like I sometimes do.
If you're a caregiver,or know someone who is, I hope that this book makes you smile.
