Book: Gidget --The Horse I Didn't Own (The Burton's Farm Series Book 3) by Vicky S Kaseorg

Vicky S Kaseorgabout this book: After the incredible success of the first two books in my Burton's Farm Series, I had at least a few more stories left to tell. Book 3 still focuses on Gidget who was a real horse from my childhood.
Some of the events happened, but most of the series is fiction. What is true is how much I loved horses, and how much they affected my childhood and the person I would become.
Each book explores a different aspect of coming of age, and the seeds of character development. In this book, the issue is how one responds to difficult trials and circumstances in life. The central question of the book, and for all of us, is will we crumble in the face of adversity, or will we find a strength we didn't know we had till forced to use it?
As in all my books, God is central, though not in a preachy way. He is embodied particularly in one key character. My hope is that the reader will love that character because of her truth and goodness, and be drawn to the God she loves.
And above all, it is a moving story of the love of horses.
