Peter O'Hareabout this book: The Adventures of Buttercup Stables is based around 6 lovable racehorses and the things they get onto on and off the racecourse. Let me introduce the gang. There's the bubbly Racey Stacey who spends most of these day arguing with the troublesome but talented Hurricane Harry, there growing more and more like brother and sister everyday! We have The elegant Winter Snow and the old war horse Tank. There joined by the lovable but miserable Grey Ray...well wouldn't you be miserable if you were he the only horse in a stable who hasn't won a race? And finally the stables champion Jonny Rocket, who is the pride and joy of trainer Mr Matthews eyes. There's also stable girl Sarah and jockeys Peter and Jane, these characters make up a family fun adventure that all generations are guaranteed to fall in love with. In the first of this series we have four stories:-
• Racey Stacey's big day
• Hurricane Harry's valuable lesson
• Winter Snow and the traffic jam
• Jonny Rocket meets the Queen
There is also 6 activity pages for children to do some colouring in. The book is beautiful and the stories uplifting for boys and girls alike.
The second book in the series should be out by Christmas. So I hope you give it a try and I'm sure you will love it.
If you do buy my book, or your just interested and you want to ask any of the horses from my book a question you can tweet them through my Twitter account which is @oharepeter and I will make sure they get back to you, an example is below:
RACEY STACY - Are you faster than Hurricane Harry? or
WINTER SNOW - Who is your best friend at the stable?
Just try it, it could be fun, just leave your name and they will get back to you

what to read next: if you read and liked this book...
Amazing readI bought this for my 4 year old lad who, despite needing a fair bit of help reading it, thoroughly loved it. This has become his regular "bedtime storybook", fantastic and designed with superb illustrations and storyline that keeps the reader keen to read on, where so many other books fail. Short story heaven. [by Joe Taylor]
