Tammy Rugglesabout this book: Rated R for violence and sexual situations. Not for children.
In the small town of Maysville, Kentucky, they say an old abandoned hospital named Hayswood Hospital is haunted. People have seen a figure of a young woman standing in the third floor window. People have seen the image of a young mother walking the halls carrying her dead infant. There is no electricity in the building, yet people claim lights come on, and they can hear the elevator to the morgue start up.
This is a fictionalized account of that girl. I call her Ruth Hill, and this is the story that inspired the independent horror film, The Legend of Hayswood Hospital.
The Diary of Ruth Hill explains the events that led to her death, and the reason the old hospital is alleged to be haunted to this day.
Do ghosts exist? Hayswood Hospital has been investigated by numerous paranormal research teams, and has been the subject of several TV ghost-hunting shows.
After you read this horror story, you'll know what The Legend of Hayswood Hospital is all about.
