Mawr Gorshinabout this book: A psychiatrist on sabbatical meets an attractive, but apparently troubled, woman. He has a one-night stand with her, and unintentionally gets her pregnant. Later, he learns that she plans to kill and eat the baby a month or so after its birth. He must stop her, but how? The police won't believe his bizarre story, and time is slowly running out.
I believe my novel will give my readers chills and be thought-provoking as well. The title, 'Sweet,' was inspired in a quick flash from a suggested novel title ('Murder My Sweet') in 'Is Life Like This?', a book by John Dufresne that teaches how to write a novel.
My readers, naturally, are horror fans. It took me about a year or so to write. The concept for the cover was my idea, but I had a friend design it, as I am no professional artist, by any means.
The best thing I learned from writing this, my first horror novel, was the importance of revising, over and over again. I hope my readers will like it.
