Madison Kentabout this book: Felicity is turning twenty and is about to embark on a journey of self-discovery. In the year 1600, in the city of London, she finds herself grieving over her break-up with London's Leonardo DiCaprio, Jack Durham. She is aggravated with herself that she ends up weeping and unable to get out of bed over her lost loves but that men don't experience this same heartache. They frequent pubs and engage in the pursuit of many women and, it appears to her, as if they recover without regrets when they experience a parting from their love. She decides this will be the path she will take, to be more like a man and to have as many beaus as she can. Her plans to do this include a secret rendezvous to the pub Will Shakespeare frequents, and a masquerade ball. When her strategy to gather beaus like roses comes to fruition, she finds this is just as confusing as her heartbreaks and she must decide who is her true heart's desire.
Felicity came to be because I wanted to write a romance story that did not include any erotica or physical scenes of love making. This is an old fashioned love story based on the repartee and the manipulations all young people participate in when they are trying to find "the one".
Felicity's Beaus was chosen by ifandorbutpublishing.com to be its' Feature of the Month Book for March. Their review of the book will be posted on March 15th on their website.
