Book Review: Madame's Double Life by Keegan Lacecategories: Book, Regency, Romance, High Society, England, Historical Romance
Keegan Laceabout this book: Born into high society and high standards in the English country side, Lady Victoria is free spirit. Her life is thrown into turmoil when it is arranged for her to marry the much older Lord Hawthorne. Accepting her destiny, everything changes when she meets the Duke of Wellington.
Known as a womanizer, the Duke of Wellington is looking for his next conquest when he is taken by the beauty of Lady Victoria. Lady Victoria is just the type of woman the Duke can love and leave.
Will Lady Victoria give in to the dashing Duke of Wellington and risk causing a scandal to her husband's name? Or will the Duke of Wellington discover love for the first time.
I hope readers enjoy this book as much as I did writing it. Even though I have been reading historical romance novels for years, I had to research English titles in the 19th century and the fashion. The book cover was chosen because I believe it represents the characters in the book.
