Arlene Lamabout this book: My book Rescued is in essence a love story, a tale of learning how to love when love was never shown before and falling in love again when your hearts been broken.
Rescued's two main characters are Jordan and Amelia. Amelia has always been shy and somewhat restrained, raised by her aunt who desires to keep her so and marry her off to a man twice her age. However Amelia soon fines in hard to stay within the rules and regulations laid out for her once she lays eyes on Jordan Bradford. Jordon on the other hand is a man with a past that still haunts him. The sweet maid he employes however seems to make him forget all past transgressions and just her smile brightens his soul, enough so that he just might be willing to give love a second chance.
I started Rescued and at first never thought I would finish it. Now I'm so glad and proud I did. During the process I learned so much about writing, and creating characters that I believe a reader can fall in love with. I also found out a lot about New Orleans. To my readers I thank you for giving me the opportunity to share with you my stories and I do so hope you enjoy. Please feel free to drop me a line and let me know what you think.
