Mark Decker is an author and amateur historian with a passion for reading, writing and history, whose work is often inspired by records of the past. Driven to share these stories with a fictional element added, he does so through stories filled with historical events and a cast of unforgettable characters, drawing for the historical facts into a fictional perspective.
He has always had a vivid imagination and that combined with a love for history and writing makes for an inspired storyteller.
When he isn't writing, Mark enjoys spending time with his family; giving presentations on the Civil War in Missouri to local schools; and traveling to historical battlefields and places of interest.
