Book: Historical Fiction Time Travel - Hypersleep Event Paradox by Aboubekr Boutalebcategories: Book, Time Travel, Mystery, Historical Romance, Action Adventure, Medieval History Fiction, Historical Fiction
Aboubekr Boutalebabout this book: What inspired me to write the book? A visit to the magnificent medieval Moorish Alhambra Palace in Granada, Spain and "Tales of the Alhambra" by Washington Irving. I also wanted to draw attention to the very rich Arabic/Islamic culture and universal legacy in sciences, mathematics, astronomy, chemistry, medecine, architecture etc. Furthermore I also combined culture with history (important to make the point) the story surrounds true historical events that helped shape the world i.e. 1492 AD: the end of Islamic rule in Spain after 8 cenruries and by coincidence Christopher Columbus's witnessing the end of the Arabs influence in Christian Iberian Peninsula and the beginning of Spain's power with Columbus discovery of the New world...
As far as the fiction/fantasy adventure part is concerned, in a nutshell: Madjid (the hero of the novel) discovers secrets on the conflict of choice between the physical and metaphysical, encompassing space-time as we know it... and don't.
• Where (or when) will he wind up?...
• Will he rediscover how to turn base metals into gold?
• And, most importantly, how was he able to travel in time?
There's only one way to find out... join Madjid in his travels across worlds and through time...
