Book: And One Stayed Home by Janice Roane and Ripley Roane Jr.categories: Book, Romance, Heartfelt, World War II, WWII, Love, Historical Fiction
Ripley P. Roane Jrabout this book: In the 1940's life was completely different than it is now. This book follows the lives of 5 boys as they begin their journey to adulthood. Everything seemed beautiful until Pearl Harbor is struck and soon these boys are cast into a darkness they never dreamed would ever happen. Their families are torn apart and it will take every ounce of courage, love and will for their country and loved ones. We were inspired to write this book because we have first hand knowledge of how life was and how the war effected everyone. It took us six years to research but it has been a labor of love!
Here is what some of our reviewers are saying: "Wonderful read! The book brings out a wide range of emotions in you. I found the characters well developed. You grew to love them and root for them. I also found the flow of the book to be original. The plot was great! I recommend this as a great buy!" - Emma Trahan
