Book: The Bearwalker's Daughter by Beth Trisselcategories: Book, Paranormal, Native American Romance, Adventure, Shapeshifter, Historical Fantasy Romance
Beth Trisselabout this book: My passion for the past fueled by accounts I've gleaned from my early American Scots-Irish ancestors and their interactions and clashes with Native Americans in the colonial frontier is at the heart of the inspiration for historical/paranormal romance novel The Bearwalker's Daughter. The history I draw from is raw, real, and pounds with adventure. A passionate era where only the strong survive. Superstition ran high among both the Scot's settlers and Native Americans, and far more––a vision that transcends what is, to reach what can be. We think we have gained much in our modern era, and so we have. But we've also lost. I try to recapture what shouldn't be forgotten.
I learned about 'Bearwalkers' from a Shawnee sub-chief. If you want to know more you will have to read the book.

• "Beth Trissel captures the flavor of bygone times when America was a brand new nation, when the white man and Indian struggled for supremacy. Here she weaves a wonderful story set deep in the mountains of Virginia, a place of great beauty and harsh reality in this tale of forbidden love and destiny." — Jinny K B, Amazon Review
