Appleton Schneiderabout this book: Selected from the many short (and longer) stories of "Butterbee", these tales should appeal to specific readers -- and for all others provide a perspective of how much worse it could be (no matter what the reader's own hassles!!)
U began writing 30 or more years ago. Everything was done on a typewriter. And through the years the pages piled up, for attempts at publishing through the mail (to agents and/or publishers) accomplished nothing but (from only some) polite generic rejection letters.
So the hardest part of writing this and the other almost 30 of my books . . . that every word had to be re-typed. Into a computer. A format required by the new breed of online publishing companies. And, of course, the while (6 years or so)of this effort, my proof-reading, and, thankfully, minimal re-writing and revision of the original manuscripts.
That I'm able to type at dictation speed is thanks to the years of piano lessons. Keys is keys (to an extent). Otherwise I'd never have been able to accomplish what I looked ahead of (and now back onto) as impossibility.
Thanks to self-publishing domains that the re-write at least accomplishes an "archive" online for the writer. Thanks to promotional sites (such as David's) that potential sales are promoted, even proclaimed.
