Dr. G. Michael Vaseyabout this book: After writing Inner Journeys: Explorations of the Soul, I became intrigued by the hexagram as an occult symbol. It is the symbol of the Sun but, because it is also associated with the number six (666), it has got an ill deserved bad rap as an evil occult symbol. In fact, nothing could be further from the truth. The hexagram speaks about the number 7, the number of perfection, not 6 as it has seven points. The book explores the symbolism of the hexagram is exhaustive details using tarot, kabbalah, and alchemy to enlighten us.
No exploration of a symbol can be complete without personal experience of it. The book therefore includes a set of meditation exercises designed to help the reader explore the symbol themselves.
Finally, the book also contains some background on the Tree of Life and other magical systems to help the reader.
The book was written by myself and SC Vincent (who I have never met!) and was published by Datura Press in 2012.
