When the Priests find them they discover that these two babies bear a sacred birthmark known as "The mark of the Holy Sword." They bring them to Duke Ryan of Ravendune and ask that he raise these two orphaned twins. The Duke, having no heirs of his own, accepts their offer and so the wheel is set in motion.
It is Eighteen years later and the mysterious twins, known as Eric and Brandin- Sons of Duke Ryan, are now Knights of the Brotherhood of the Holy Sword. They learn that their unique birthmarks make them chosen to quest for the ancient Holy Swords of Legend, Swords that may Unite the quarreling Dukedoms.
But the legends speak of "Three who bear the mark of the Holy Sword." The question remains, "Who is the Third and where are they?" As the twins travel throughout the land of Amarcain, They discover the truth behind their origins and finally meet the mysterious third who bears the Mark of the Holy Sword.
