Sheila Lowe about this book: Handwriting of the Famous & Infamous is a coffee table book that contains the handwritings of seventy-five celebrated individuals and my thumbnail sketches of their personalities. This is an amazing collection of people throughout history, from Galileo to Catherine the Great, to John Lennon, to the Son of Sam, and each has his or her unique story to tell. Included with each subject is a short biography and some quick tips on where to find interesting tidbits in handwriting.
I was invited by the publisher to write this book, and they selected the handwritings they wanted me to analyze. Several US presidents were included (JFK, Clinton, Bush, FDR, etc.), as well as some First Ladies. At the other end of the spectrum, Hitler, Stalin, and other bad guys are there, too.
The book was written in 1999 and reprinted around 2007, so current politicians didn't make it, but I'd love to add Barack Obama and Lady Gaga. Maybe there will be another edition sometime. Readers certainly seem to be fascinated by this one.
