Book: The Indie Author's Guide to - Building a Great Book by Jo Michaelscategories: Book, Book Formatting, eBook Sales, How-To, Design Guide, Indie Authors, Print Book Formatting, eBook Formatting, Book Design, Non-Fiction, Guide for Indie Authors
Jo Michaelsabout this book: This book is for indie (independent) authors who struggle to understand basic formatting for getting their books out there into digital AND print. It walks you through setting your book up in basic programs for mass production. I wrote it to help indie authors avoid the 'red spot of shame' (the one that appears on the forehead after one bangs one's head on the desk fifty times).
I chose the cover to show the exasperation we face and how we feel after struggling to format a book for five hours only to have it come back with errors. It took me a few weeks to write it, using the knowledge I gained in design school. I came up with the title to reflect the contents. It's exactly what it says it is. My research was in my schooling.
If you're an indie author, you'll love this book. It's got a very high rating everywhere it's available. I priced it low so you wouldn't have to break the bank to get a quality product out to your customers.
