about this book: "The Choice" is a simple novel of good and evil, angels and demons, love, faith and redemption. Nineteen year old Sarah Bennett has spent most of her life in a hospital, the prisoner of a dysfunctional body. Thanks to the angel Abraham, she is granted six months of life in a perfect body. While her comatose body remains in a present-day New York hospital, for her gift of physical freedom, she is transported to Austria in the year 1900. Angels Ruth and Abraham are given human form to help guide her. However, a dark force tests her faith, and that of those around her, forcing them to make difficult choices as she experiences love and romance for the first time.
The underlying message is that we control our own destiny and each choice we make determines the future. Although a story of faith, no one religion is named, as the concept applies broadly to all faiths. The manner in which one practices faith is, ultimately, a personal choice.
