about this book: I am a long time fan of science fiction, enjoying every variation under that large umbrella, not least among them the space opera. When the opportunity arose to write a novella I immediately jumped at the idea of science fiction story, and my first thought was of a disaster of epic proportions, but then I decided I want to make my story a little less grand scale and a little more person oriented. I stuck to the idea of a disaster with my poor hero Taylor waiting for a painful death he can't avoid, dreaming of Joel, the lover he'd lost when catastrophe struck.
