Rebecca ''Butter'' Garrettabout this book: Rainstorms & Rainbows consist of two short stories about family and the acceptance of one's choosing. Both stories addresses us on a day to day and if not your own then for sure you know of someone's struggle in it. Love, homo-sexuality, abuse, forgiveness, acceptance and even a transition in one's family is the rainstorm that we all face or will face.
If we are not willing to overcome it's high and low tides and even gusty winds, then we will miss out on seeing the rainbows after the storms. Which I call the benefits of our lives. My greatest inspiration for writing this book was my first and only grandson, Jeremiah. At a time in my life when I was battling a most difficult back ailment, had battled with cancer and the loss of my mother, I so dearly miss. For that baby brought a healing and a peace to my body that is truly indescribable. What I have learned more of in writing Rainstorms & Rainbows is the power of forgiveness and the strength in loving another.
This book is not just another fiction, for I experienced every emotion known to man through its pages and I am a better human being for it.
Have you lived exceptionally and can now say with assurance that you are now living in your rainbow?
I'm happy I can answer with a yes :)
Let your mind flow inside of this fresh and needed examination.
Thankyou and Enjoy,
REBECCA "BUTTER" GARRETT
