Book: The Sin of Forgiveness by Edward F. Mrkvicka, Jr.
|4.7 stars based on the 3 most helpful Amazon reviews|
Edward Francis Mrkvicka, Jr.about this book: Secular "forgiveness" does just the opposite of what true forgiveness is meant to accomplish. In short, it harms everyone. But true Christian forgiveness brings a blessing to all - victim and sinner alike.
We are to forgive, but it must be according to the example and teachings of Christ. Anything less is a sin. Mrkvicka is grounded in the Word of God and, based on his lay minstry and counseling experiences that span 50 years, offers a straightforward biblical understanding of forgiveness that becomes clear almost immediately. How could we have turned something so beautiful into a sin? After reading "The Sin of Forgiveness" you'll know how and why this happened. More important, you'll know the beauty of true Christian forgiveness, perhaps for the first time.
