Vanessa Bogenholmabout this book: Nominated for the de Vinci Eye Award, The Moral Line follows the life of a rejected and lonely woman as she stumbles along in life trying to solve financial, personal, and inner conflict problems and just survive at middle age. Sex and sexual acceptance are so important to most human beings. Humans all have different needs and desires, who are we to judge what works for one human and not for another to gain self-worth? Through the journey Catherine falls into, she learns to accept and love others, not for just their looks or money, but for their inner personalities and the friendships she gains. Through these men she entertains, can she learn to love and accept herself?
I did extensive research with men who saw high end escorts, modern day business people running websites, and the escorts themselves who shared what their 'work' was really like on a daily basis. The most difficult situation, was never telling anyone I was doing this research or interviews since this is a gray area of the law. Everyone was similar, searching for love and acceptance.
