V. A. Jeffreyabout this book: The Lady Moons book 4 in my children's middle grade fantasy series Secret Doorway Tales. Usually the young protagonist, and eight year old girl named Anne Greene goes on a straightforward adventure and deals with characters who are either Good or Bad, in this story, though it's an adventure it deals with dreams and the dream world and she must deal with a character that is a little ambiguous. Shades of gray is what she encounters in her adventure in The Lady Moons. I wrote this story because I feel that though there is always Black and White there are also gray areas and just as adults must wrestle with these things so must children. Unlike in the other books of the series not everything is tied up in a neat little bow but there is resolution. The series is a lot of fun to write and my hope is that kids (and adults) enjoy reading it as much as I enjoy writing it.
