Su Williams about this book: Tears of Adamas is a short story fairy tale inspired by a fire sprite that cries molten silver tears. It's the story of young maiden who weeps diamond tears and the greedy young prince who will stop at nothing, even the assassination of his father, the King, to get what he wants...the treasure of Adamas tears. Tears of Adamas is written in the vein of classic fairy tales with love and longing, greed and death. It's not necessarily written as a children's tale.
Adamas is the Greek word for diamond, and all the characters, as well as the kingdom, were named for words that represent them in the Greek language. I couldn't have found a more perfect cover for the story as it depicts the maidenly face, eyes closed with a diamond tear...emerald cut, of course.
Because it's short story, I added some 'Did You Know...' facts about diamonds and a short excerpt from one of my upcoming novels 'Sunshine & Daisies'.
