Gayle Millerabout this book: Dark Waters is an adaptation of my feature length screenplay. The cover shows Amelia as she wanders through the vast forest that surrounds most of the Dark Waters world. It has characters you will love, loathe and come to admire as well as a world that you will want to journey across. The easiest part of writing the book/script was creating the world, however, letting go of certain characters was most definitely the hardest.
Dark Waters is aimed at mature readers because it is a story about love, sacrifice and freedom.
When Malichi's life is torn asunder he takes matters into his own hands and goes hunting for the perpetrator. Somewhere along the way he loses who he is and turns into a dark and brooding man. Now, as a demon hunter, he has little time for the niceties of life until a young man tracks him down and convinces him to take him along.
Together Malichi and Xavier travel across the land trying to restore peace while battling shapeshifting demons. However, leaving a trail of blood in their wake causes the clan chief of the Amalyians to send an aggressive shapeshifter after them.
When Amelia catches up with Malichi all hell breaks loose.
If there is a message I could impart to my readers it would be to never lose who you are even in the darkest of times.
May Dark Waters bring you as much joy as it brings me.
