Book: Carol - A deniable novel by Gabriel F. Szeitzcategories: Book, Horror, Science Fiction, Romance, Thicket, Mystery, Fantasy
Gabriel F. Szeitzabout this book: It was a rush: I had some experience as writer, but after I moved from Europe in Caribbean I ceased to write. I've been reading a lot instead. And all of a sudden, it blown out. I had the first draft in four days! I was possessed, I barely slept. All together it took me two weeks to finish it, doing only that. I can't remember if I ate anything.
The title is a mystery to me also. It came with the flooding. I know a single Carol, and definitely it's not her... The background of the cover was provided by my good friend and renown painter in the Caribbean, Lucia Trifan.
Learning from a book that you write is probably the most valuable experience one can get. Is the fermentation, is the explosion and is the cooling down. The cooling down is never finishing. You'll be haunted, regardless if your book is good or your book is a breakthrough novel.
For who keeps this book in hands, I want to ensure it is a sincere creation. I didn't used templates and I didn't stole ideas. I germinate myself.
what to read next: if you read and liked this book...
