Book Review: Jessie's Eyes (Abandoned) by Yesenia Perez
|5 stars, 1 review|
Yesenia Perezabout this book: Jessie's Eyes (Abandoned) is a story of a young girl named Jezebel who was abandoned as an infant and left to raise herself. She always knew she was different but could never quite figure out why, but when she starts being chased by a man that only she could see, she starts to question her sanity.
Daniel is a young boy who was sent on a journey to find this girl. She is the key to the safety - or destruction - of all mankind. Within her lies a gift so powerful that, if she is not careful, she can destroy whatever crosses her path. Her gift can be seen through her eyes, which change drastically when disaster is near by.
Jessie's Eyes (Abandoned) is designed for young readers, ages fourteen to seventeen, but can be read by anybody for a sense of fantasy, mystery and adventure. It leaves questions and answers, and you will not be able to put it down once you start!

Great For the Young and the Young at HeartI really enjoyed this book. It is great for teenagers and young adults in particular, but anybody who likes fantasy will enjoy this book. It has mystery, adventure, a bit of comedy, and some action. I fell in love with the characters. They seem very real because you know what they're thinking and the dialogue does not sound like a script. The dialogue brings the characters to life. This is part one of five and I cannot wait to see what Yesenia will bring in the next part. I can tell that this will be no simple plot.
