Book: The Price of Creation (The Historian Tales Book 1) by Lance Conrad
|4.7 stars based on the 3 most helpful Amazon reviews|
Lance Conradabout this book: This book is technically the first of The Historian Tales series. I say technically, because the books in this series can be read in any order. They're not even set in the same world or universe. What ties the books together is the narrator. Each book is a story being told by a character called the Historian. In each book, as he tells you the story, you find out little things about him. You get hints about who he is, what he is, and how he became what he is. It has been a fun device to deliver these great stories.
This might sound odd, but the thing that has surprised me most about this book is how popular it has been. Every author hopes that people will like his/her stories and writing, but I really was astonished by how much enthusiasm my readers had for the story.
Still, for all its popularity, I still prefer to think of The Price of Creation as the least of my books. I hope that each book I've finished since then has been an improvement over the last.
