C. R. Cummingsabout this book: When I was a teenager I can vividly remember taking family vacations up the coast of California to the Redwood forests. I would stand in the lush forest, surrounded by the towering trees, daydreaming of running away and living in the forest…fantasies of being something other than a normal awkward teenager. I wanted to be something wonderful, something magical…and be alone, the master of my own destiny.
Run, Run, Run Away grew from those daydreams.
16 year old Ivy has a home life that no teenager should endure and she decides to takes matters into her own hands. Her late Granddad had a cabin in the forest of Oregon and she figures that would be the best place to hide out. It was a bit scary, but extremely exhilarating to finally be on her own.
But life does not always go the way we plan and for Ivy that means making some interesting new friends, discovering her Grandma's journals hidden in the cabin, along with her own true identity and finding out that running away isn't always the answer.
