Book: El Precio [The Price of Passion] (Spanish Seduction) by Jean Maxwell

Jean Maxwellabout this book: "Following your passions, comes at a price." This book was indeed a case of following my passions, and more difficult to write than its prequel "El Mirador."
The first draft took seven months to pound out, as opposed to 45 days for El Mirador. Even with the characters fully developed, it became a case of what did I want to say about life and love through these characters, instead of just what they said, what they did and where they did it. As with most authors there is a lot of "me" in this story and you will notice a lot of repeating themes, themes that are both personal and profound. They speak of "fate" as a persona, who can be cruel trickster and hopeless romantic at the same time. Set against the exotic backdrops of Malaga, Zaragoza, Tenerife and Montreal, it is the continuing story of architect Zara Flynn and how she comes to terms with her legacy and her newfound love, engineer David Parker.
Find out how these two manage to forge their strong-as-steel relationship despite the challenges and conflicts the 'trickster' throws their way.
