Leanna Harrowabout this book: Men are liars, Maggie West knows that all too well. When an encounter online with a "catfish" leads her into a willing deception, she has no idea just how many lies one man can tell.
The idea for this book actually came from a real life experience with a "catfish" online. I am no stranger to the internet or it's plethora of people trying to be someone they are not. I am just glad that unlike Maggie, I would never get embroiled in a sexual relationship with a man, in another country, no matter how alluring it might be.
I fashioned the character of Maggie West after myself because I too am a strong, independent woman who has used life's hardships and adversities to shape and mold myself into the brutally honest, suspicious, street smart woman I am today.
Everyone knows a woman like Maggie. She's smart, funny, determined and gets back up every time she's knocked down. Maggie just happens to get knocked down more than the average woman. This just makes her more determined to get back up and you more determined to love and cheer her on!
When you read about Maggie's trials and tribulations, you can easily see your mother, sister, aunt, cousin, daughter or even yourself in her. She is a woman every woman can relate to, commiserate with and look up to and a woman that every man, can fall in love with.
