Mary Wehrabout this book: Melanie's marriage fell apart as soon as she was diagnosed with depression coupled with panic attacks. Her husband regarded her as mentally damaged and turned his back on her. After his death she was determined to take back her life and swore she would never trust another man again. It wasn't easy, but she did it.
Jack Horan is a state trooper ready to retire after nearly twenty-five years on the force. He hasn't found the right woman to spend the rest of his life with, that is until he meets Melanie Manning. Can Melanie forget the emotional pain her husband caused her and will Jack be able to convince her that her illness is nothing to be ashamed of?
Depression is a difficult illness to through. I know because I suffer with it. But there are medications to help ease the symptoms. The first thing that needs to be done is too recognize the signs and see a doctor. The chance to be happy again is within reach. I hope you enjoy Melanie and Jack's story.
