Walter C. Conner about this book: Looking ahead in Book Two of the Wisdom Chronicles series, Princess Caron foresaw a future for her son Alexander in which he would eventually found a kingdom that would last a thousand years and more. Between the "Princess of Wisdom", in which Alexander was an infant, and the time that the kingdom is founded, the young prince and the other children born of the characters in Book Two must necessarily be introduced and mature. Thus, "Children of Wisdom" in which the various children, who are now young adults, set out individually into the world where, whether by accident or design of the fates, they end up becoming involved in each other's lives and adventures.
Once again, my readers have been most generous in their praise of this book. And, once again, my favorite review was by Candace Poindexter who wrote in part: "I couldn't put the book down, and when I did finish, I wished I had read more slowly in order to savor the story and stay in the world of Wisdom a bit longer. It remained in my mind for days and I lamented that I would have to wait a while for the next installment! This is a very smart, clever, and extremely well-written book...full of good, evil, magic, fantasy, and most of all, love! A MUST READ!" (And, no, I haven't been paying her to write these nice things about my stories.)
