J. Richardsonabout this book: I simply felt not quite finished with the No Normal Day series. There were still stories to tell, people to meet and I longed for new locations and characters to explore. I like stories that have an ending, so I do not write what you might call "cliff hanger" endings. When I myself read, I want to put down a book and feel satisfied it has completed. I want to be involved with the characters and feel that they accomplished whatever they had spent pages attempting, that their problems were resolved, at least for the time being. Even though, book III had ended, it seemed that there was more to tell about the new world, post catastrophe and the citizens of it.
So, I was away again, bumping along in a wagon with Jeff and his young son, Kevin into a vast and often unfriendly landscape. New adventures, new people and the faint promise of a new life await the father and son in the changed America. Will the dangerous environment defeat them or will they find something unexpected up ahead? Something strange? something bad? something hopeful? I am loaded up and ready to go with them to find out. Won't you join us?
