Book: I'm Listening With a Broken Ear by Vicky S Kaseorg

Vicky S Kaseorgabout this book: My husband was out of work, and finances were tight when I found a starving, dying dog on the roadside. I wanted to leave her to her sad death because I knew I could not take on the responsibility. Yet, in the end, I could not leave her. I stopped to help her.
We nursed her back to health, at which point, she tried to kill my other dog, and the little children that entered our home.
Now what? We could not euthanize her. We just couldn't.
Over the next year, a dog trainer offered to help us rehabilitate the near-feral dog. I won't spoil the story telling you how it ends, but the experience launched my career as an author.
I knew this was a story I needed to tell. As in all my books, the providence and promises of God shine through. It is a book of hope and redemption, with the key message that nothing is irredeemable.
• I think this story helps people understand not only about rescuing a dog, but how we can live spiritually day by day, hour by hour, moment by moment!
• There are very few books I read over and over again. This is definitely one of them.
