These dishes are unique to Jamaica, and are prepared on different occasions during the year. For example we bake the black cake/fruit cake during Christmas.
I chose this particular cover because of its boldness and it highlights what the book says.
This book appeals to persons who love cooking and willing to try new things, or interested in other cultures. I know that persons living in the European countries love Jamaican cultures.
The hardest part of putting this book together was how and which order to present the menus. I do hope the pictures in the book reflects the attractiveness of the dishes, as you see them. Every person between age 13 -65 years of age, of both genders should be able to use this book.
I had to do some research on how to present the menus in the book. I learn , while compiling this book that Jamaica has great tasting and delicious food, if you only try them!
