Dr. Terry W. Dorsett about this book: My wife and I took a pilgrimage to the Holy Land with a group of pastors from New England. We really enjoyed visiting the sites we had learned about in seminary and preached to others about for years. All week long it seemed that we were walking in the footsteps of Jesus. When we visited the Church of Ascension, we were able to actually touch what is traditionally believed to be the last footprint of Jesus before He ascended to Heaven. During the entire trip I made notes of what the Spirit was speaking to me.
I shared the notes on my blog and many of my readers expressed how blessed they were by the notes. This book, Touching the Footprints of Jesus, is a 28 day devotional guide that grew out of those notes. It is a picture into my soul of what the Lord taught me as a result of the trip. It is my prayer that through taking this spiritual journey with me, each person who reads this book will be able to touch the footprints of Jesus as I did. Since writing this book, my desire to revisit the Holy Land and see more of the biblical sites has grown tremendously.
